This Privacy Notice explains how AL-AAMIR PTE. LTD. (“AL-AAMIR”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in connection with al-aamir.shop (the “Website”) and the sale of mining hardware.
We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”).
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
Data you give us. When you submit a request for quotation or contact us, we collect the information in that form: company name and country of registration, contact person, work email address, telephone or messenger handle, destination city or port, the configuration and quantity you are asking about, site power and voltage, preferred Incoterms and settlement currency, and any free-text notes you add.
Data from an order. If a quotation becomes an order, we additionally hold the commercial correspondence, invoicing and counterparty details, shipping and customs documentation, and the serial-level records associated with your batch.
Technical data. Our web server records standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, requested page and timestamp, for security and diagnostic purposes.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on the Website, and we do not sell personal data.
3. Why we use it
We use personal data to:
- prepare, issue and follow up a quotation;
- conclude and perform a contract of sale, including delivery and customs formalities;
- issue invoices and process payments;
- provide warranty and after-sales support, including handling claims by serial number;
- meet legal, tax, accounting, sanctions-screening and anti-money-laundering obligations; and
- maintain the security and integrity of the Website.
Our legal basis under the PDPA is your consent, given when you submit a form or place an order, together with the exceptions in the PDPA that permit processing necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you and to comply with law.
4. Who we share it with
We disclose personal data only as necessary, to:
- freight forwarders, carriers and customs brokers, to deliver your order and clear it at the destination;
- our service partner handling warranty repairs, where a claim requires it;
- banks and payment intermediaries involved in settlement;
- professional advisers, auditors and insurers; and
- government authorities where required by law.
Some of these recipients are located outside Singapore, including in Hong Kong and at the destination of your shipment. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are retained for up to twenty-four (24) months and then deleted.
Records relating to a concluded order — contracts, invoices, shipping and customs documents, batch test reports and warranty correspondence — are retained for the period required by Singapore accounting, tax and customs law, and for the duration of any applicable warranty and limitation period.
Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then rotated out.
6. How we protect it
Access to enquiry and order data is limited to the personnel who need it. The Website is served over TLS. Commercial records are held in access-controlled systems, and payment instructions are issued only through our written offers — we do not change banking details by email during an order.
7. Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may:
- ask for access to the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- withdraw consent to our use of your data, on reasonable notice; and
- ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep.
Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer quote, supply or support an order. Some data must be retained to meet legal obligations even after a request for deletion.
Write to support@al-aamir.shop and we will respond within the timeframe required by the PDPA. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
8. Third-party links
The Website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; their own notices apply.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The version published on the Website states the date on which it was last updated.
